Does indulge himself like a regular office worker – saw him stopping in for late morning donut break @ Chestnut & Steiner

I honestly do admire his work ethic.  They say, “follow your passion” and he is very, very passionate about holding his hand (er..bag) out.   It’s true I do not admire his particular career path, but his dedication really is admirable and I really mean that.

I was actually working hard for a change and didn’t get up to Chestnut St. until after 2pm.  Rich was working harder.

words can’t express my frustration here.  I took a picture of Rich as someone was about to give him money.  But Rich and the generous people were “in the shadows”.  This probably just winds up being some wacky rationalization for buying an iPhone.

Rich falls into the Gap on Father’s Day (a bustling day on Chestnut St., I’d have been shocked beyond all belief if he’d have made today his first day off in at least 4 years).

Happy Father’s Day!

sadly, i did not  get to Chestnut St. until ~11am, and didn’t see Rich.  My brother says he was at Starbucks very early this morning and Rich clocked in promptly at 7am.   I don’t think my brother has a camera phone, and even if he did I doubt I could convince him to take the pictures.

Today when he saw me coming around 11am he tried to get away fast. He knows I’m snapping daily pictures of him and I think he has some idea of what it is i’m trying to document/convey.  He’s by the motorcycle at the corner of Chestnut & Steiner

Happy Flag day.  It was a rare warm morning in San Francisco (it was about 85 as I took this pic at 11am, it’s now down to about 78) and Rich took shade under the awning of the about to open (I guess) Marina Theater.  Rich is normally dressed appropriately for SF weather, but today, he was a bit overdressed.

Not sure about Rich, but I didn’t get up to Chestnut St. until about 4pm today.  I never said I was the hardest working man in the Marina.
